The Etosha Pan approximately 130x50 kms in size dominates the scenery at Etosha National Park.
The salt pan is empty most of the year and fills during rainy season attracting flamingoes and pelicans.
Etosha is the jewel in Namibia's crown, home to a wide variety of bird and animal life.
4 of the Big 5 (lion, elephant, black rhino and leopard) can be found as well as zebra, giraffe, oryx, kudu, springbok, black faced impala and many others.
The waterholes in Etosha Park are a fantastic way to view game.
Each waterhole in Etosha is different and animals spotted at each vary from season to season. The main waterholes in Etosha include Okaukuejo, Okondeka, Halali and Goas and Sueda and Salvadora.
EASTERN ETOSHA ACCOMMODATION
Built into an old German Historic Fort built in 1897, Namutoni Resort is the perfect setting for a cultural adventure African savannah. It is located in the eastern part of the Etosha National Park in close proximity to the Fisher’s Pan – a hotspot for birders.
The romantic fort overlooks the flood-lit King Nehale Waterhole from which visitors can enjoy views of wildlife without leaving the resort. The swimming pool and bar offer moments to relax and socialize.
Accommodation is available in bush chalets and double rooms.

Accommodation at Onguma - The Fort consists of 11 Bush Suites and 1 honeymoon Suite, all situated adjacent to the Main Fort extending on both sides to the south and the north.
Every Bush Suite is completely private and about 50 meters apart from one another and is equipped with a bar fridge, and an air-conditioner for those warmer days. The spacious bathroom has both an inside shower as well as an outside shower area. From every area of the room, wooden decks lead you towards the outside seating area and sun loungers for just relaxing and enjoying the extraordinary view.
Onguma Tented Camp

Onguma Treetop Camp
Onguma Treetop Camp is a small and intimate camp, especially designed for those travellers who would like to truly experience the bush in all its raw splendour.
The Camp is built on wooden stilts amongst the tree tops with full views over beautiful watering holes on Onguma Game Reserve. The Camp consists of 4 thatched rooms with canvass walls, a dining room and a main complex.
The new water-level hide will provide hours of game viewing opportunities for guests.
Onguma Bush Camp
Onguma Bush Camp offers 18 rooms and is ideal for families with children. Family loft rooms ensure the kids will have a great safari. Located only 8 kilometres from the Von Lindequist Gate on the eastern outskirts of the Estosha National Park, Mushara Lodge is ideally situated for the independent travellers visiting the park. Our lodge consists of ten spacious chalets, one family unit, two single rooms and a triple room.
The thatched public area consists of a small library with a selection of good books, a bar with an extensive wine cellar, airy lounge with welcoming fireplace for winter evenings, a dining area and well stocked curio shop.
Mushara Bush Camp

Mokuti Etosha Lodge is situated only four minutes drive from the eastern Von Lindequist Gate near Namutoni Fort.
The lodge has 90 rooms and 16 luxury rooms. Recently refurbished, they are all air conditioned and come equipped with satellite TV, a mini-fridge, safes, free Internet Wi-Fi access, tea/coffee-making facilities and en-suite bathrooms with showers.
Mokuti Etosha Lodge offers the Tambuti Dining Room & Marula Bar, the Pool Bar & Terrace and the only open air African Boma in the area. Meals are typical Namibian feasts, featuring many local products and the famous local choices of both beef and game, all lovingly prepared according to home-style recipes.
Onguma Etosha Aoba
The lodge consists of four free standing Heritage Bungalows with air-conditioning, 3 Bush Suites that each have two rooms with an inter-leading bathroom that can accommodate 4 adults. Three new Explorer Bungalows have been added and each boast privacy and seclusion. There is also a Honeymoon Bungalow that is extremely private and secluded with both an outdoor shower and bath!
The large twin beds have separate mattresses and a large mosquito net. All bungalows have a private terrace with seating, shower / toilet, mini safe, "bush-minibar”, air conditioner and tea / coffee facilities.
There is a swimming pool and a thatched bar, lounge and dining area that overlooks a waterhole and free WiFi.
Etosha King Nehale
Etosha King Nehale is an exciting development that forms part of the Gondwana Collection Namibia and opened on 10 June 2020, about 5km north of the King Nehale Gate on the northern border of Etosha National Park.
Etosha King Nehale hosts 40 rooms, which will pay homage to the rich cultural heritage of the area. The lodge is situated in the King Nehale Conservancy. The area is characterised by vast and spectacular landscapes including the Andoni Plains, artesian springs and woodlands.

In the heart of the African bush, Emanya@Etosha offers an outdoor swimming pool with a poolside restaurant. It is located in northern Namibia, near the Etosha Nature Reserve.
Decorated in soothing tones, all chalets feature intimate lighting and luxurious bathrooms with a bathtub. Each air-conditioned unit comes with a satellite flat-screen TV and a work desk.
Emanya@Etosha’s natural surroundings are home to 27 species of game animals roaming the area. Morning safari drives, bird-watching safaris and sunset game drives can be booked at the hotel’s reception.

Each unit also has ample plugs to ensure cooler boxes keep cool and cameras get charged.
There is a stunning main area with a restaurant where guests can enjoy a hearty meal while looking out across the waterhole.
